The month of April offered indeed good prospects for the Malayalam film industry, with a flurry of new Malayalam movies making it to the theatres. But finally, it was Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which came at the end of the month, which turned out to be the show-stealer.
Apart from dubbed version of Baahubali 2: The
Conclusion, as many as 6 Malayalam movies made it to the
theatres in the month of April. Some movies met the expectations of
the people while the rest fell flat.
April started off with Dileep starrer Georgettan's
Pooram, and is all set to end in a grand fashion with
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ruling the theatres. In
between, Mohanlal starrer 1971 Beyond Borders, Mammootty
starrer Puthan Panam, Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu,
Jayaram's Sathya, Biju Menon's Rakshadhikrai Baiju
Oppu etc., made it to the theatres.
