Alyque Padamsee

Alyque Padamsee is an Indian theater personality, both as producer and actor. He is probably best-known in the English-speaking world for playing Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the film Gandhi.

Career
Padamsee is well-known as an advertising professional. His career in advertising spans several decades. Padamsee recently participated as a panel speaker at the launch of a new book, Ayn Rand at 100, in Mumbai, commemorating Ayn Rand's centenary.

Personal life
He was married to Pearl Padamsee by whom he has a daughter, Raell Padamsee; then to Dolly Thakore, mother of his son Quasar Padamsee, and later to Sharon Prabhakar by whom he has a daughter Shazahn Padamsee. All three women were connected with the performing arts.
