Amaal Mallik was born on June 16, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, into a renowned musical family. He is the son of music director Daboo Malik and the grandson of legendary composer Sardar Malik. His younger brother, Armaan Malik, is a popular playback singer. Education Amaal completed his schooling in Mumbai and later pursued a degree in music. He studied classical music and Western music, which helped him shape his unique style of composition. Career in Music Amaal Mallik made his Bollywood debut as a composer in 2014 with the film  Jai Ho , starring Salman Khan.
