Anant Vijay Joshi, born on 26 October 1989 in Agra and raised partly in Almora, Uttarakhand, is an Indian actor known for his natural screen presence and versatile performances. He completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hazratpur, and later pursued his graduation. Standing tall at 5’11”, Anant started his acting career with theatre before moving on to small television roles in shows like Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Ghost (2015) and Karn Sangini (2018).
He rose to fame with the popular web series Virgin Bhasskar (2019) and its sequel, where he played Bhaskar Tripathi, a character that brought him widespread recognition. His career graph continued to rise with impactful roles in Netflix shows such as Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, where he played Golden, and Maamla Legal Hai, where he portrayed Vishwas Pandey. On the big screen, Anant won hearts as Havaldar Saurabh Dwivedi in Kathal (2023) and as Pritam Pandey in the critically acclaimed 12th Fail (2023), directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Beyond acting, Anant is a man of many talents — he enjoys painting, singing, cycling, embroidery, and even playing the ukulele. Trained in flamenco dance under Spanish artists in Mumbai, he continues to explore creative avenues while excelling in acting.
