Bagavathi Perumal Biography

Indian actor Bagavathi Perumal, better known by his stage name Bucks, primarily appeared in Tamil films. Bagavathi, who made his acting breakthrough as Perumal in Balaji Tharaneetharan's widely praised Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, also played pivotal roles in other films like Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum, Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum, Pichaikkaran, and Super Deluxe.

Perumal made his screen debut in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012), directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and based on a true story. The actor received praise for his performance, and the movie emerged as a sleeper smash. Alongside Arulnithi and Bindu Madhavi, Perumal played a thief in Chimbu Deven's fantasy comedy Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum in 2014.

When it first debuted, the movie had a mediocre box office record despite receiving optimistic attention. Later, he was seen in a limited subset of Jigarthanda, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Siddharth. He played the film's cinematographer. Later, Bagavathi was spotted acting in the film Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum, where he appeared opposite Arulnithi yet again. In the blockbuster movie Super Deluxe (2019), he played a dishonest, womanising cop. The movie began to delight audiences and earn critical praise.
