Over a career spanning two decades (2005–2026), he appeared in 24 films and gained recognition for both supporting and lead roles across films, television, and theatre. Career Television Career Dileep Raj began his journey as a television actor and became a familiar face through popular Kannada serials such as Janani , Ardha Satya , Rangoli , Kumkuma Bhagya , Mangalya , Malebillu , Preetigaagi , and Rathasapthami . His performances in these shows earned him recognition and a strong fan base. He later expanded his work in television as a producer and director , contributing to successful shows like Vidya Vinayaka , Paaru , and Hitler Kalyana . Film Career He made his film debut as a lead actor in Boyfriend (2005). His breakthrough came with the blockbuster Milana (2007), where he played the antagonist role of Hemant. Over the years, he appeared in several Kannada films including Love Guru , Gaana Bajaana , Panchamrutha , Barfi , Tony , and U Turn (2016), where he played a significant role in the thriller. His later works included Ambi Ning Vayassaytho (2018) and Orchestra Mysuru (2023). Dubbing Work Apart from acting, Dileep Raj was also a dubbing artist. He lent his voice to several Kannada films, notably dubbing for Chethan Kumar in Aa Dinagalu (2007), along with other projects.
