Kousalya

Kousalya is a playback singer from South Indian Cinema. She started her playback singing career in the year 1999 with the Telugu movie Nee Kosam, music scored by R.P. Patnaik. She has rendered more than 400 songs for Telugu, Tamil & Kannada films.

Career

She's worked with renowned musicians like M. M. Keervani, Mani Sharma, Koti, R.P. Patnaik, Chakri, M. M. Sreelekha, & Vandematharam Srinivas. She has worked with playback singers like S.P. Balasubramaniam, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, and Mano.

Kousalya rendered her voice for dubbing in two movies, Sravanamasam for heroine Kalyani and Bakara for heroine Yashika. She composed "Sri Annamayya Sankeerthana Sudha" with four new Keerthanas released by Aditya Music. She won the Nandi Award as a Best Singer for her own composition on ETV Adade Adharam, a daily serial.

TV And Stage Shows

Final winner of Padutha Theeyaga hosted by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam on ETV. She hosted Sye Singers Challenge on ETV, which was about giving a break for new talent in singing in 2006. She was a judge along with music director Koti & lyricist Bhuvana Chandra on Zee Telugu channel Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs 2009. She composed music & sung the title songs of Sye Singers Challenge, Aadade Aadhaaram & Hrudayam on ETV. She was a judge/team leader in Super Singers 7 presented by Airtel on Maa TV.
