Kuri Prathap is an Indian actor and comedian who primarily performs in Kannada cinema. Prathap changed his moniker to Kuri Prathap after working for a while on the trending program Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu.
Besides that, he began receiving acting proposals, and then, in 2007, he successfully made his debut appearance in the Kannada movie Anatharu. He has further made approximately 40 appearances in Kannada movies, quite often as a secondary character. His popularity increased as a result of the Udaya TV parody show Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu.
In Mysore, Karnataka, Kuri Prathap was born on August 18, 1977, to a Kannada-speaking family. In 1989, he attended St. Ohiiominas High School in Mysore. He received his diploma from the University of Mysore.
He has collaborated with nearly every significant Kannada cinema star, including Upendra and Darshan, among many others. Victory, Brahma, Mr. Premi, Auto Raja, and Jai Maruthi 800 are just a few of the popular movies he has channeled. He competed in Bigg Boss Kannada's seventh season in 2019 and finished as the runner-up.
