Manimegalai

Manimegalai is is an Indian television presenter and video jockey, boasting a career spanning nearly 12 years in the Tamil television industry. Since 2010, she has been a prominent figure on Sun Network shows before transitioning to Star Vijay in 2019. Known for her fearless expression of thoughts and advocacy against adversities, she has garnered a strong following.

In addition to hosting, Manimegalai ventured into reality TV as a participant in "Cook with Comali" on Vijay TV.

Personal Life:

Born in the Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu to parents Ramaayyappan and Jothimani, Manimegalai grew up alongside her younger sibling, Gunamani. After completing her MBA in HR & Finance from SRM University, she embarked on her career as a video jockey, starting at Sun Music. In 2017, she married assistant choreographer Hussain Shaik Kadhar.

Career:

Manimegalai's career kicked off in December 2009 when she debuted as a Video Jockey on Sun Music, later hosting several programs including "Super Hits," "Franka Sollata," and "Kollywood Diaries." Her captivating hosting style earned her widespread recognition, leading to accolades such as the Best Anchor award from the World Human Integration Council in 2016. Following a successful tenure at Sun Network, she transitioned to Vijay Television in 2019 to participate in the reality show "Mr. And Mrs. Chinnathirai," alongside her husband Hussain. Their commendable performance earned them the title of 2nd runner up.

Public Shows/Events:

Beyond television, Manimegalai is a sought-after host for public events, including college culturals, audio launches, and award functions. Notably, she hosted the audio launch of the film "Tik Tik Tik" in January 2018, followed by numerous other audio launches and success meets of notable Kollywood movies.

Acting:

While primarily known for her hosting prowess, Manimegalai dabbled briefly in acting, making a single-shot appearance in the serial "Bharathi Kannamma" as per director Praveen Bennet's request.

YouTube:

In 2020, Manimegalai and Hussain embarked on a successful YouTube journey, launching the channel "Hussain Manimegalai." Within a year, the channel amassed over a million subscribers and 100 million views, earning them accolades for their engaging content.
