Mayilsami Biography

Mayilsamy was an Indian actor and comedian who primarily worked in the Tamil cinema and entertainment industry. He starred in many Tamil films and was well recognised for his strong supporting roles. Also, he made an appearance as a judge on "Asathapovathu Yaaru," which was broadcast on Sun TV in Tamil. Also, he appeared in a number of films, including "Duet," "Ghilli," "Kangalal Sei," "Rendu," and a long list of many others.

Personal Life


On October 2, 1965, Mayilsamy was born in Sathyamangalam. In the 1990s, he wed Shantha, and the two of them had Arumainayagam as their only son. Considering that he has spent his entire life as a joker, he wanted to make his son into a hero and gave him the stage name of Anbu. He revealed that his son was prepared to enter the acting profession in 2009 and assisted him in getting a part in the movie "Parthom Pazaginom."

Career

Mayilsamy made his acting debut with "Sirrippu Isai,"  where he performed as a comedian and established himself as the most effective.Later, he worked with Lakshman on notable imitation releases such as "Sirrippo Super Sirippu," "Meendum Sirippo Sirippu," and others worthy of mention.


He made his cinematic breakthrough at the age of 20 with "Kanni Rasi," which has been released in 1985. Since then, he has made multiple notable appearances in a variety of films, including "Villadhi Villain," "Sivalingam," and some others.


From 2000, he became well-known for playing the companion of a Tamil comic in movies like "Dhool," "Kanden," "Vivek," and other deserving movies. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian in 2003 for the film "Kangalal Kaidhu Sei."

Mayilsaamy began his cinema career in 1985, and from that point on, he used his talent to make others happy. The horse worked in this industry for 38 years and appeared in more than 200 movies. Udanpaal, the final movie of his career, was released in 2022.

Death

R Mayilsamy, a skilled comedy actor, passed suddenly on February 19, 2023, following a cardiac arrest at his Chennai residence. The 57-year-old actor had severe suffering in his last years.
