Mimi Chakraborty is a well-known Indian actress and politician, who primarily works in the Bengali film industry. She made her acting debut in the 2010 Bengal Television serial 'Gaaner Oparey' and then made her debut on the big screen in the 2012 release 'Bapi Bari Jaa'. Apart from being an actress, Mimi is also a politician. She joined in the Trinamool Congress Party in the year 2011.

Mimi Chakraborty was born in the village of Jalpaiguri in West Bengal in 1989. After completing her school education at St. James' School, Binnaguri and earned a bachelor's degree in Arts from Ashutosh College in Kolkata.
Career Life
Mimi started her journey as a model at the age of 20 and participated in Femina Miss India. Later, she stepped into showbiz as a Television artist in the Bengali Television serial 'Champion'. She made her acting debut in 2012 with Bapi Bari Jaa. Directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha, the film also marked the debut of actor Arjun Chakrabarty who played a lead role in the movie.
Mimi won the breakthrough performance in Raj Chakraborty's 'Bojhena Shey Bojhena'. Her portrayal of a fierce and unconventional character captivated audiences, proving her mettle as a talented actress. In 2017, the actress who played the role of a lawyer in the movie Dhananjay earned accolades from the audience. Being a talented actress Mimi became part of many super-hit movies in Bengali.
