Mohit Suri was born on 11 April 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a family deeply rooted in the Indian film industry. He is the nephew of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and producer Mukesh Bhatt, and cousin to actors like Emraan Hashmi, Pooja Bhatt, and Alia Bhatt.
