Preethi Asrani is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Telugu and Tamil films and the television industry. She gained recognition for her lead role in the Tamil soap opera "Minnale" on Sun TV. Preethi made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu film "Pressure Cooker" (2020).
Preethi hails from a Sindhi background in Gujarat. She moved to Hyderabad to pursue a career in the film industry. She was enrolled at St. Ann's College for Women in Hyderabad. At the age of sixteen, Preethi made her debut in the short film "Fidaa," where she portrayed a blind girl. She also made her television debut with the series "Pakkinti Ammayi." She starred in the film "Malli Raava" (2017) and played the younger version of the main actress in the film.
In 2018, Preethi made her debut in Tamil television with Sun TV's "Minnale," where she plays the lead role in the serial. She then made her debut as a lead actress in the film "Pressure Cooker" (2020), opposite Sai Ronak. She also made her Tamil debut with "Ayothi" (2023) alongside Sasikumar, which is based on true incidents.
