Preity Mukhundhan

Preity Mukhundhan, an Indian film actress, has left an indelible mark on the Telugu and Tamil movie industry with her remarkable performances. Born and raised in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, Preity ventured into the world of cinema with her debut in the superhit film "Om Bheem Bush" in 2024.

Coming from a family of doctors, Preity's upbringing in Trichy instilled in her a strong academic foundation. She pursued her passion for film acting and holds a B Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology Trichy.

Preity's talent extends beyond acting; she is also a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer, receiving formal training from a young age. She has showcased her dance skills at various cultural events, excelling in diverse forms like Hiphop, cine folk, western, contemporary, and fusion.

Her journey into the entertainment industry began with modelling during her college years. Despite the demands of her academic program, Preity appeared in numerous TV commercials and print ads, gaining recognition in the South Indian Ad-film industry.

In 2018, Preity Mukhundhan made waves with her debut music album "Muttu Mu2," which garnered over 4.2 million views on YouTube. Her versatility and talent caught the attention of filmmakers, leading to her debut in mainstream cinema.

Her Tollywood debut in "Om Bheem Bush" opposite Sree Vishnu received acclaim, establishing her as a promising talent in the industry. Currently, Preity is set to shine in the upcoming film "Star," directed by Elan, where she plays the female lead opposite Dada actor Kavin. Preity's journey continues with her involvement in Manchu Vishnu's prestigious project "Kannappa."
