Shah Rukh Khan is a highly-acclaimed award-winning Indian film actor who works in Bollywood films, as well as a film producer and television host.The thirty years of his journey in the film industry prove he is the most memorable and cherished hero in popular romantic films. No doubt, he is the most successful romantic hero in Indian Cinema at any time. 

Career Life 

Khan began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 1980s. He made his film debut with the commercially successful Deewana (1992). Since then, he has been a part of numerous commercial successes and has delivered a variety of critically acclaimed performances. As a leading actor in Bollywood Film Industry, Shah Rukh Khan has received 14 FilmFare Awards for his remarkable contribution to Hindi Film Industry. In 2005, the actor received Padmashri Award from the Government of India.

Some of Khan's best-known films have been top-grossing productions in the overseas market, making Khan one of the most successful actors of Hindi cinema. These include Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). 

Since 2000, Khan branched out into film production and television as well. He is the founder-owner of two production companies, Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. In 2008, Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world. 

Personal Life

Sharukh Khan married Gauri Chibber on 25th October 1991. The couple had tied the knot after six years of a long courtship. They have three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and AbRam Khan.

Awards and Honours

Sharukh Khan has won several awards and recognitions and accolades.The Padma Shri Award(2005).In 2012,he has received BrandLaureate Legendary Award from Malaysian Government and Pyramide con Marni Award from Unesco(2011).

Producer and Television Host

Sharukh Khan was the producer of the blockbuster hit movie 'Om Shanthi Om'. The movie was released in 2007. In 2008, he started his own production house Red Chilled Entertainment. The actor appeared in front of the audience as a television host of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Later, he was replaced by Amitabh Bachchan in 2007.
