Sharwanand is an Indian film actor known for his work in Telugu cinema and a few Tamil films. He began acting in the 2004 Telugu movie Idava Tareekhu. He won the Best Actor Debut title at the first South Indian International Movie Awards in 2012 for his performance in the critically acclaimed film Engeyum Eppodhum.
Personal Life
He was born on March 6, 1984, in Vijayawada to M. R. V. Prasad Rao and Vasundara Devi. He earned a bachelor's in commerce from Wesley College in Secunderabad. At the age of 17, he applied to the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai.
Career
When Chiranjeevi and Sharwanand appeared in a Thumbs Up ad, Sharwanand initially grabbed media attention. In 2003, he made his Telugu acting debut in the film 5va Tareeku.
Then, Sharwanand made his debut in Tamil cinema with movies like 2009's Naalai Namadhe and 2011's Engeyum Eppodhum. The movie Run Raja Run was a 2014 box-office success.
The next movie starring Sharwanand was Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, which was made by Kranthi Madhav. The movie he made after that, Express Raja, was indeed a commercial success.
In 2016, JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, Cheran's film, had a middling box office performance, while Sharwanand received favourable feedback from the general public. In his subsequent film, Sathamanam Bhavati brought in about 50 crores.
