Shernavaz Jijina is an Indian actress and model, best known for her role as Shabnam in the popular Amazon Prime web series " Mirzapur ." Born on September 22, 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She started her career in the entertainment industry as a model, working for various brands such as Dove, Flipkart, Neesh Perfumes, and Tanishq Jewellers. Shernavaz made her acting debut in 2015 with the web series "Bang Baaja Baaraat," produced by Y-Films, where she played the character Gurpreet. She then appeared in an MTV music video and a television series called "Love on the Run." Her breakthrough role came in 2018 with "Mirzapur," where she initially had a small part that expanded significantly in the second season. In addition to her work in web series, Shernavaz has performed in theatrical plays at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. She is multilingual and fluent in Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, and French (The Wiki). Before her modeling and acting career, she worked in the event management department at Red Bull. Shernavaz also participated in beauty pageants and was the first runner-up in the 2015 Sir Ness Wadia Memorial Pavilion.
