Biography

Shiny Doshi was born on September 15, 1989, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She completed her schooling and college education in her hometown before moving to Mumbai to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Coming from a non-film background, Shiny initially started her professional journey as a model and appeared in several television commercials. Career Shiny Doshi began her acting career on television with the show Saraswatichandra (2013), where she played the role of Kusum Desai. Her performance was noticed, and she went on to appear in popular shows like Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal (2015), where she played the lead role. She later featured in Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant (2016) as Samaira and Laal Ishq (2018), showcasing her versatility. She gained further recognition with Pandya Store (2021–2024), where she played the character of Dhara Pandya, a strong and caring elder daughter-in-law who holds the family together. The show became very popular, and her performance was widely appreciated.
