Siddique was a popular Indian film director, who mainly worked in the Malayalam film industry. He made his directorial in 1989 with 'Ramji Rao Speaking. Siddique was a mimicry artist who attended many stage shows and events during his earlier career life. He was best known for his collaboration with actor Lal and delivered several hit movies like In Harihar Nagar’, ‘Godfather’, ‘Vietnam Colony’, and ‘Kabooliwala’. The veteran director died due to a heart attack on August 8, 2023. He was undergoing treatment for liver ailments at Amrita Hospital in Kochi, Ernakulam .
