Sravana Bhargavi Biography

Sravana Bhargavi (Born on August 16, 1989 in Andhra Pradesh, India) is a South Indian playback singer, who has recorded several songs in Telugu movies. she has a younger brother and her father is a Sub-Inspector in Hyderabad Police department.

She did her schooling at NASR school located in Hyderabad. She has completed her Bachelors of Technology Degree in EIE from Vignan Institute of Technology and Science. She initially trained light music under Lalitha and Haripriya. She practiced carnatic music for more than 6 years and took up light music later to improve her singing.

She is a multi-talented personality. She is a dubbing artist, radio jockey, lyricist and a playback singer. 'Joramochindi' (Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu), 'Panchcha' (Dhinekaina Ready), 'Areyrey Pasi' (Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum) are her recent popular songs.

Sravana Bhargavi was the runner up on a TV reality singing competition called Sapta Swaralu. Her first recording was for the movie Boni. She got a big break with song "Simhamanti Chinnode" in Balakrishna's Simha. Later, she has crooned several songs for Ride, Tejam, Simha, Khaleja, Theenmaar, Badrinath, Solo and Rajanna. She has also penned the lyrics of the song "In the night" in Badrinath.

Recently, Sravana Bhargavi has been hosting a Show in 92.7 Big FM in Hyderabad. She has given voice for hero's best friend role in the Telugu movie Love Failure starring actor Siddharth. She has also dubbed for Shruti Haasan in the movie Gabbar Singh.

Sravana Bhargavi has got engaged to his co-singer Hemachandra. According reports, their engagement took place in Hyderabad on Sunday, December 9. The singers, who have been seeing each other for the past few years, have reportedly planned to enter the wedlock on the Valentine's Day on February 14th, 2013.
