Sriti Jha is one of the most acclaimed and beloved Indian television actresses, admired for her exceptional acting talent, expressive performances, and natural beauty.
Born on February 26, 1986, in Darbhanga, Bihar, Sriti grew up in Kolkata and later Delhi, where she completed her English (Hons.) degree at Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. It was during her college days that she developed a love for acting and theater.
Sriti made her TV debut in 2007 with Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, but she rose to fame with shows like Jiya Jale, Jyoti, and Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?, where her acting was widely praised.
Her biggest breakthrough came with Kumkum Bhagya (2014–2023), where she played Pragya, becoming a household name and winning multiple awards for Best Actress. Sriti’s nuanced performances and strong screen presence made her one of the top actresses on Indian television.
Apart from fiction, Sriti also showed her adventurous side as a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 (2022), where she impressed viewers with her courage.
