Tamizh is a south Indian actor who predominantly performs in the Kollywood film industry. He is best known for his role in the film Jai Bhim as SI Gurumoorthy.He made his directorial debut with the film Taanakkaran, for which he received widespread critical acclaim from both critics and general audiences.

Career

In the film "Jai Bhim," Tamizh betrayed the character of the Sub Inspector. He did not portray the character as an actor; he simply lived it, and his effectiveness in that film was quite well noted. The audience adored this man in that film because of his stage presence as SI Gurumoorthy, who gave an exceptional performance. He simply earned the audience's rage and remained in their minds while maintaining his proper position in the industry.The audience lauded him for this portrayal as this persona speaks for a decade and the ideal villain for Tamil cinema was found, but he declared that he arose to the industry to direct, so he will no longer undertake performances.

He worked as a constable for the Tamil Nadu Police Department for 12 years before deciding to pursue a career in the film industry. From a young age, he had a desire to direct films. He was the youngest of eight siblings, with four brothers and four sisters. So they insisted on him getting a well-paying job, so he chose that and ended up working as a cop for 12 years. He began training after finishing the 12th grade, and because he was in good physical shape at the time, he was hired as a constable at Manimuthar station in 2002. He got hitched and also had two kids.

He needs to be transferred to Chennai in order to learn about cinema in the meantime. Nevertheless, he really spent six years in various jails, including Manimuthar, Vellore, and Dhigar. After six years as a constable, he was transferred to Chennai. He was dissatisfied with his job and was unable to keep it, but due to family obligations, he remained and worked. He considers his desires and dreams, and he quits his job. He kept his resignation from the job a secret from his household for 1.5 years. And then he told his wife, and they struggled for 7 years. And during those difficult times, he had strong assistance from his family and his partner. He also worked as a traffic cop for a few days. In the film Visaranai, he made his debut as an assistant director to renowned director Vetrimaaran. He also appeared in another Vetrimaaran film, Asuran, in a fight scene with actor Dhanush.

Tamizh developed a new tale and chose to make his directorial debut. He narrated the story to several actors, many of whom were rebuffed due to call sheets, lack of interest, and other factors. He finally found an appropriate performer in Vikram Prabhu after several attempts with other actors. He made his directorial debut with the film "Taanakkaran," in which he cast Anjali Nair as the female lead, which was released on April 8, 2022. During the filming of Taanakkaran, he was approached by Jai Bhim director "Gnanavel Tha Se," in which he received notoriety and great recognition, but he initially refused to play that role; however, the director was very intense, and he established the proper villain, "SI Gurumoorthy."
