Varthur Santosh Hallikar is a well-known personality in Karnataka, gaining popularity through agriculture and serving as the President of the All India Cow Conservation Committee. Varthur Santosh participating in the Kannada reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10. He entered the house on October 8th, 2023 hosted by Baadshah Kiccha Sudeep. Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 contestant Varthur Santosh has been arrested by the Forest Department team, the reason is that in Bigg Boss, Santosh is seen wearing a locket made of tiger's claw, after which an FIR was filed against him under sections of extrajudicial law has been registered. Varthur Santhosh's mother visited the Bigg Boss house and successfully persuaded him to continue staying in the house. He decided to abide by his mother's words and play for the people who had voted for him in large numbers. Varthur Santhosh secured a spot in the finale week with a substantial fan base outside the house. Throughout the show, his dedicated fans actively promoted and supported him, resulting in consistently high votes each week. Initially criticized by fellow contestants for not actively participating in entertainment tasks, Santhosh later demonstrated his versatility in that aspect as well. Despite being among the top five contestants, he ultimately exited the show as the 4th runner-up on January 28th, 2024.
