Vikas Sethi was an Indian television and film actor, best known for his roles in popular TV serials like Kahiin To Hoga (as Swayam Shergill), Kasautii Zindagii Kay (as Prem Basu), and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Born on May 12, 1976, in Chandigarh, he moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and trained under Roshan Taneja. He also appeared in films like Oops!, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Deewaanapan, with his last major screen appearance being in the Telugu film iSmart Shankar (2019).
Vikas married Jhanvi in 2018 and became a father to twin sons in 2021. Despite struggling with health and personal challenges later in life, he remained a beloved figure in the TV industry. He passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest on September 8, 2024, at the age of 48. He is remembered for his impactful performances and charming screen presence.
