Chindi, based on true story

Director Mahesh Kumar"s next film Chindi is based on a true story. The story and screenplay are written by the director; M.P. Babu is the producer.

The muhurat of the film was conducted recently at Kanteevara Studios Bangalore. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Babu said that he is investing back the money he has earned from films. Vishwa is the hero and Sahil, the second hero, is Babu"s brother. There are two heroines in the film: Jasmine Rao and Richa Sharma.

Mahesh Kumar said that the film has a captivating storyline. He also mentioned about his plans to cut costs. The first shooting schedule will begin on March 15 and the location is Holenarasipura where the actual incident took place. Later, the team will move to Bangalore to complete the shooting.
