Footage Story

Footage is a Malayalam movie directed by Saiju Sreedharan. The film features Manju Warrier, Visakh Nair, and Gayathri Ashok in the lead roles.

The film marks the directorial debut of Saiju Sreedharan, who is well-known for editing films such as Mayaanadhi, Kumablangi Nights, and Anjaam Pathiraa. Written by the director along with Shabna Mohammed, the film is produced by Bineesh Chandran under the banner of Movie Bucket and  Cast And Co.Sushin Shyam composed music for the film. The cinematography is handled by Shinos while editing is done by Saiju Sreedharan.

Movie Plot

Footage tells the story of a city-dwelling couple who run a YouTube channel dedicated to uncovering the quirks of unusual locations through engaging footage and interviews. Their penchant for exploring the unconventional takes a darker turn when they become intrigued by the mysterious behavior of their neighbor. Driven by curiosity, they decide to follow him into a secluded forest. The film chronicles the unsettling and intense events that unfold as they delve into the secrets of their enigmatic neighbor, leading to a series of revelations that challenge their understanding of privacy and safety.
