Kanguva Story

Kanguva is a Tamil historical fantasy drama written and directed by Siruthai Siva. Suriya plays the lead role, with Bollywood beauty Disha Patani, comedian Yogi Babu, and many others in supporting roles. Disha Patani has already amassed a sizable fan base among Tamil audiences through her work in films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Malang, as well as her popular Instagram posts. This upcoming Tamil debut is sure to further cement her status as a star in the industry and among the audience.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack and background score for this film. Vetri Palanisamy handled the cinematography, and the film's editing was done by Nishad Yusuf. K. E. Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi, and Telugu producer Pramod produced this film under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations. This movie will be released as a pan-Indian film by Studio Green in ten different languages in 3D.

Filming

Director Siva stated that they are overjoyed to announce the title of Suriya 42 as KANGUVA, who is a man with the power of fire, majestically depicted by Suriya on the screen, which will be a remarkable, majestic, exclusive, and exciting experience for movie enthusiasts. As soon as the film's filming is finished, we will make the release date official. Half of the movie has already been filmed, with the other portion to be shot in the upcoming months in Goa, Chennai, and other locations.

Kanguva Update

The Kanguva team is firing on all cylinders, filming a colossal scene on a sprawling set in Chennai's ECR. Next up is a month-long stint in Thailand, where they'll capture some jaw-dropping face-offs and action sequences. The film is set to be wrapped up by November, so get your popcorn ready for a cinematic feast!

Release Date

Due to the film's high level of post-production process on action scenes and cutting-edge CGI, the pan-Indian film Kanguva will hit theatres in 2024. The teaser of the movie "Kanguva" is scheduled to be released on March 19th at 4:30 PM.
