Varisu Story

Varisu is the name of Thalapathy Vijay's 66th film is a Tamil action drama film directed by Vamsi Paidipally, and the screenplay and dialogue were penned by Hari (a Telugu writer), Ahishor Solomon, and Vivek (a lyricist). The movie stars Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, and Shaam in the lead roles, along with Yogi Babu, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, and many others in supporting roles.

The tracks for this flick were sung by Vijay, Silambarasan, Anirudh Ravichander, Jonita Gandhi, and K S Chithra with lyrics written by Vivek, and the music and background soundtrack were composed by Thaman S. Karthik Palani handled the cinematography, and the film's editing was done by Praveen K. L. Under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinemas, Dil Raju and Shirish produced this film. Red Giant Movies and Seven Screen Studios distributed Varisu throughout south India and somewhere in the north.

Varisu Box Office Collection

Varisu earned 26.7 crore on its first day, matching Ajith Kumar's Thunivu in box office gross. Despite the movie "Thunivu" only earned 24 crores and had an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 74.26%. On January 15th, Varisu's production house officially announced that the film had earned 150 crores in just 5 days. Beast, Vijay's prior movie, debuted with a first-day gross of 57.4 crores, making it the highest-grossing Kollywood film to date, and it ended up grossing 242 crores globally.

In just seven days, Varisu's worldwide box office surpassed Rs 210 crore. It officially joined Vijay's 200 crore blockbuster earnings after being officially confirmed by the producing company, "Seven Screen Studio." His films, including Bigil, Sarkar, Mersal, Master, and Beast, had garnered 200 crores before Varisu.

Story

Varisu, like an urban popular family sitcom, tells the story of a happy-go-lucky guy named Vijay Rajendran, played by Thalapthy Vijay. After his foster father mysteriously passed away, his character's circumstances altered, and he now found himself in charge of a multi-billion-dollar corporate reign. Between this voyage and the one that followed, he was confronted with a slew of sins and tragedies. In order to get the crowd cheering, Yogi Babu and Anand Raj will develop the movie in a humorous way.

It's really no bit surprising that popularised Southern directors and elevated performers are suffocating the family saga genre. Despite numerous repetitions of a single tele pattern over the years, Varisu is a distinct and unique theme with a high level of excellence. Vamshi Paidipally, in his first partnership with Thalapathy Vijay, performs it incredibly comfortably. It's a typical household drama with all the expected pulses, but it's saved primarily by the involvement of one hero, "Thalapathy," who handles all of the grunt work and ends up making this one a thoroughly enjoyable stream.

Varisu is linear from the beginning, but the sheer influence of Vijay acts in its possession. After primarily working in action movies in latest years, it was heartening to see Vijay possess fun in a straight-up community cinema. This is a movie that makes extensive use of Vijay's comedic edge, and it tends to operate like charm. It's a natural quality that will resonate even with quasi fans. Ever other moment standardisation sets in, Vijay has seemed to divert attention and impress with his field portrayal who transforms into the family's redeemer.

Besides Vijay, Taman's muisc and Prakash Raj's contrary Vijay brought back Muthupandi and Velu. Regrettably, it's a show worth seeing with your family during the Pongal fest. It's a clear pongal delight from the thalapathy to his fan base.

Film's Announcement

Being that this is Vijay's 66th movie in a prominent position, the movie's working title is Thalapathy 66, and it was first confirmed in September 2021. April 2022 saw the start of principal photography, which ended in December. With rare schedules in Visakhapatnam, Bellary, and Ladakh, the movie was filmed primarily in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Vamsi claimed that the project's creators had planned to reveal it early that year but were forced to change their plans due to COVID's second wave in India. According to sources, Vijay was paid $1.18 billion for the movie. Additionally, it was said that he would be wearing two different looks because the movie will take place in two different eras. On the eve of Vijay's 48th b'day, on June 21, 2022, the title Varisu was published.

The movie's plot was created with Mahesh Babu in mind, and when the actor was unable to join, the producers contacted Allu Arjun, Prabhas, and Ram Charan before settling on Vijay. Shaam confirmed his presence in the antagonistic role for this movie on April 26, 2022, and H. Vinoth also approached him about playing opposite AK in Thunivu. The first session of filming for the movie began on April 6, 2022, in Chennai, after the opening puja event. The shooting was finalized on October 27, 2022. On November 5, 2022, T-Series released their first single, "Ranjithame."

Release

On January 11, 2023, during the Pongal feast, the movie "Varisu" released on theaters. It is the conflict between Ajith's Thunivu. Jilla and Veeram, their previous Pongal rivals, also had successful 2014 box office results.
