Surya gives away awards to students

Actor Sivakumar and his sons extended their financial help towards the education of the Srilankan Tamil's children at the 30th award function of their charitable Trust.

The organization titled as Sivakumar Charitable Trust has been supporting and honouring the education of poor students all over the state. This year, around 30 toppers in plus two exams were awarded Rs 10,000 cash prize each. The felicitation was organized in association with Agaram Foundation, which is a pet project of Surya and his actor brother Karthi.

At the event organized at the Film Chambers, Sivakumar walked in with his two sons Surya and Karthi and announced thier future projects for educational development.

Veerapandian, who has secured 53rd rank in this year"s IAS competitive examination with the help of Sivakumar was also honoured at the function.

Brinda, Sivakumar"s daughter sang the prayer song and Karthi delivered the welcome speech and Surya gave away the awards making the function truly family affair.
