Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai New Akshara: Two years following the introduction of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod as the new lead characters Abhimanyu and Akshara, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has undergo yet another generational leap, revamping the much-loved family drama. Rajan Shahi, the show's producer, recently confirmed the development of a new season. With this leap, the present lead duo will soon bid farewell to their roles.
PRANALI RATHOD REPLACED AS AKSHARA IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI
With the confirmed exits of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the creators have finalized the actors who will play the new protagonists after the impending leap. For the uninitiated, Samridhi Shukla and Shehzada Dhami have been locked to essay the new leads and the makers have also unveiled the promos featuring the new generation.
While Harshad's character Abhimanyu died before the leap, Akshara's character will continue to be a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai post-leap, however, Pranali has been replaced by someone else. Well, talented actress Preeti Amin is confirmed to step into Pranali's shoes as Akshara. Yes, you read that right! Wondering who is Preeti Amin? Here's all you need to know about her.
WHO IS PREETI AMIN AKA THE NEW AKSHARA?
According to information available on the internet, Preeti Amin hails from Hyderabad, where she completed her early education at St. Andrews High School. She pursued her higher education at Kasturba Gandhi College for Women in Secunderabad, Telangana, and St. Francis College for Women in Hyderabad.
Before venturing into television acting, Amin was involved in teaching freestyle dancing, as well as engaging in theatre and advertising modeling. After participating in India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, she initiated her journey in Hindi television by debuting in Jhoome Jiiya Re in which he played the titular role of Jiya.
Throughout her career, she showcased her acting prowess in various popular shows such as Dill Mill Gayye, Bhaskar Bharti, Kasamh Se, Lapataganj, SuperCops vs Supervillains, and Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein among others. Additionally, she made an appearance in the Telugu serial Chakravakam. Preeti Amin also took on the role of a judge in Zee TV Rajasthan's program Nach Le Bindani, which is an adaptation of Dance India Dance Super Moms.
Most recently, she was seen essaying the pivotal role of Neerja aka Dodo in the popular Sony TV show Katha Ankahee, starring Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma in the lead roles.
