Andhra King Taluka Story

Andhra King Taluka is a Telugu fan-culture-driven romantic drama written and directed by Mahesh Babu P. The film stars Ram Pothineni, Upendra, and Bhagyashri Borse in the main lead roles, while supporting roles feature Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ramakrishna, VTV Ganesh and several others. The music is composed by the duo Vivek–Mervin, cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni (with additional visual contributions reported from George C. Williams), and editing is by A. Sreekar Prasad. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, with a reported runtime of about 163 minutes and a production scale aimed at pan-South appeal.  

Story Plot

Sagar (Ram Pothineni) and his family (Rao Ramesh, Tulasi) belong to Godapalli Lanka, a village near Rajahmundry that has no connection to the outside world. They face various forms of discrimination. In such an environment, Sagar draws immense mental strength from his favourite hero, Surya Kumar. His admiration gradually grows into deep devotion, and Sagar begins to see his hero as his entire world.

At this point, Mahalaxmi (Bhagyashri Borse), the daughter of Murali Sharma, the owner of Mahalaxmi Theatre, enters Sagar’s life. This creates conflict, as Murali Sharma’s group begins targeting Sagar. Meanwhile, the 100th film of hero Surya gets halted after the producer backs out. To continue the film, a budget of 3 crores is needed — and surprisingly, that amount gets transferred from Sagar’s account to Surya’s account. Shocked and confused, Surya sets out to find out who Sagar really is.

Release Date

The film was originally scheduled for release on 28 November 2025, but makers preponed the theatrical release by one day; Andhra King Taluka now releases in cinemas on 27 November 2025. Promotional material, title glimpses, and trade reports confirm the final date.
