Pushpa 2: The Rule Story
Pushpa 2: The Rule is a pan-Indian action crime thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil starred in the lead roles, along with Sunil, Sai Pallavi, Prakash Raj, and many others in supporting roles. In this movie, Mohanlal makes a striking cameo appearance.
Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's soundtrack and background music, while Miroslaw Kuba Brozek handled the cinematography, and Ruben Serve and Karthika Srinivas oversaw the editing. While Ram Laxman, Peter Hein, and Dragon Prakash directed the principal fight scene in the movie, Chandra Bose wrote the lyrics.

This movie was produced by Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar, and C. V. Mohan for Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. Since the first part, Pushpa: The Rise, has been heard in every Indian cinema, Mythri Movie Makers decided to have this movie a pan-Indian release.
Release Date
The movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024. However, the release was postponed, and it finally hit theaters on December 5, 2024, simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Pushpa 2: The Rule Box-Office
"Pushpa 2: The Rule," made with an estimated budget of ₹400–₹500 crore, achieved an impressive pre-release business of ₹1,065 crore. The film's theatrical rights were sold for ₹640 crore, while non-theatrical rights fetched ₹425 crore. Additionally, over 32 lakh tickets were sold in advance, generating ₹106 crore in pre-sales. On its opening day, the movie earned ₹294 crore, followed by ₹449 crore on the second day. Within just three days of its theatrical release, "Pushpa 2" collected a staggering ₹621 crore gross worldwide.
