Virupaksha Story

Virupaksha is a thriller movie directed by Karthik Dandu with a screenplay written by director Sukumar. The movie casts Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon in the main lead roles, along with Sunil, Sai Chand, and many others in supporting roles.

The music was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, while the cinematography was done by Shamdat Sainudeen, and it was edited by Navin Nooli. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings banners.

Plot

The suspenseful thriller begins in the 1990s and takes root in the small town of Rudravanam. A strange person's magical activities cause unexpected deaths in a village. As they look for the offender, issues develop, and the entire village is in panic. The community experiences a sequence of weird incidents all of a sudden, and residents keep passing away one by one. What exactly is going on at Rudravanam? What's the cause of all these deaths, specifically? How did Surya tackle the challenge?

The Virupaksha movie was released in theatres on April 21st, 2023.

Box-Office

Virupakasha movie made a pre-release business of 25 crores before release, and on opening day, it made 12 crores. On its first weekend at the box office, Virupakasha earned approximately 65 crores and it collected  100 Cr in 4 weeks.
