Mollywood Actors Who Shined In Dual Roles On Big-screen

Mammootty is one of the leading and most successful actors in the Malayalam Cinema, who has acted in over 35o movies in the three decades of his career life. The State Award Winner has appeared in the highest number of dual roles in Malayalam films. Mammootty who played triple role in the movie 'Parleri Manikyam: Oru Pathira Kolapathakathintea Katha' was well-received at the box-office and won his fifth Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the movie. Apart from this, he also appeared in dual roles in the movies like  Eeppattanathil Bhootham, Balram Vs Tharadas, Ananthambi, Mayabazar, Drona, Dhadasahib and Parampara.

According to the latest reports, the actor will be seen in a dual role in his upcoming movie 'Malaikottai Vaaliban'. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, which marks the first-ever onscreen collaboration of the director with National Award Winning actor Mohanlal. Before this one, Mohanlal also played a dual role in the superhit movie 'Raavanaprabhu' alongside Revathy.

Dileep who played  the role of Kunjan, a naive villager with a hunchback in the movie 'Kujhikoonan' is also considered as one of the finest performance. For his stupendous performance in the movie, Dileep had received Asianet Film Awards for Best Actor. His another dual role movies includes Vellaripravintea Changathi and Pachakuthira.

Jayaram is one of the successful actors in the industry, and has delivered stupendous hits in the early 80's and the 90's. He also surprised the audience by playing dual roles on the big screen for several times. Some of his notable dual role movies list includes Mayilattam, Aparan and Magic Lamp, Randam Varavu. 

Actor Prithviraj also delivered an intense performance in 'Krithyam', one cannot forget to laud him for his dual role as both the antagonist and protagonist role in the movie. The crime thriller movie is directed by Vijay Thampi and featured Prithviraj, Pavithra, Siddique, Eva Pavuthran and Indrajith Sukumaran in significant roles.

The actor who played a dual role in Actor Vineeth's directorial debut movie 'Ayal Njan Alla' had received critical appreciation from the audience as well as critics. Apart from this Fahadh also played a double role in V.K. Prakash's Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla'.

Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most talented and youngest actors in Malayalam Cinema. The rising pan-Indian superstar is best known for his versatile performances on the screen. Dulquer has played the most multiple roles (four) in the Bilingual romantic thriller movie  'Solo', written and directed by Bejoy Nambiar and released in theaters in 2017.
