Jiah Khan cremated at Santa Cruz graveyard, Mumbai

Actress Jiah Khan has been cremated at the Santa Cruz graveyard in Mumbai. Khan's last rites were performed in the presence of her family, relatives and a few Bollywood stars. As per reports, Jiah's alleged boyfriend Suraj Pancholi and his father Aditya Pancholi too were present at the cremation ceremony.

Jiah committed suicide on Monday night, by hanging herself at her apartment. As per reports, the actress took the extreme step, in the absence of her mother and sister. It was an utter shock to the entire film fraternity, especially the actors who had worked with Jiah in movies.

Actors Ritesh Deshmukh, Nagma, Anju Mahendru, Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao and Vijay Mallya's son Siddharth went to the residence to express their grief. Jiah, who made her Bollywood debut with the film Nishabd, was said to be very depressed over her sinking career in the industry. Also, her failed love story with alleged boyfriend Suraj Pancholi might have led her to take the extreme step.
