Awasthi was born on July 17, 1992, in Lucknow and was also brought up in Lucknow. She completed her schooling at Dayanand Girls Inter College, Lucknow, and went on to pursue her graduation degree at Lucknow University, Gorakhpur. She has always been fascinated by cinema, since her childhood.
