Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is an Indian actress and model born on September 18, 1993, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She comes from a well-connected film and television family—her father, Shashi Ranjan, is an actor, director, and publisher, while her mother, Anu Ranjan, is the founder of The Indian Television Academy. She is the younger sister of Anushka Ranjan. Akansha completed her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later pursued an acting diploma from Whistling Woods International. She also holds United States citizenship. Career Beginnings Akansha started her professional journey as a model, walking the ramp for renowned designers like Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis. She made her television debut in 2019 with TLC’s fashion series Decoded and gained early popularity by appearing in the music video “Tere Do Naina” alongside Aparshakti Khurana.
