Aman Yatan Verma is an established TV show anchor and an actor. He co-hosted with Mini Mathur the first season of Indian Idol on Sony Entertainment Television and then he hosted Zee TV's Zee Cinestars. In March 2005, India TV's tabloid show India's Most Wanted aired an exposé claiming that Verma, and many other established celebrities in the Bollywood and Indian TV industries abused their position to extort young women for sex. Verma and the Bollywood elite have vehemently denied their involvement with any casting couch mentality. He starred in the movie Baghban with Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. He then starred in a soap named Teen Bahuraniyaan playing the role of a man called Sumeet who has been in coma for the past few years.
