Ayush Sanjeev Biography

Aayush Sanjeev (also spelled Ayush Sanjeev) was born on 22 December 1996 in Badlapur, Maharashtra, India. He grew up in a middle-class family with parents Sanjeev and Shweta, and has a brother named Utkarsh Salunke. He completed his schooling at New English High School, Mumbai, and went on to graduate from the University of Mumbai. From a young age, Aayush had a passion for dance and performance, which later influenced his career in entertainment.

Career Beginnings

Aayush started his journey in the entertainment industry as a dancer, focusing on dance from childhood. Early in his career, he worked as a background dancer in Bollywood and Marathi films and also served as an assistant choreographer on several dance reality shows. This period helped him build performance skills and industry experience before transitioning into acting.

Acting Career

Aayush made his initial mark in acting with roles in Marathi television and film. He appeared in the Marathi serial Boss Majhi Ladaichi (2018) and later starred as the lead character in 36 Guni Jodi, playing Vedant opposite Anushka Sarkate. His dedication to both acting and dance highlights his versatility as an entertainer.

He also featured in the Marathi project Var Var Che Swayamvar, where he shared insights on performing in newer digital formats and adapting to various storytelling techniques.

Reality TV & Public Recognition

In 2026, Aayush gained wider national attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6. During the show’s premiere, he revealed that he had once worked as a background dancer on the Bigg Boss stage itself, making his appearance in the contestant house especially meaningful. Aayush has expressed ambitions to one day host the show as well, reflecting his evolving career aspirations in entertainment.
