Bobby Kolli

K S Ravindra (Kolli Santosh Ravidranath) is a director and writer who has worked in the Telugu and Kannada film industries. He is well-known for his roles in films such as Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Venky Mama, and Power. In 2014, he won the Santosham Film Awards for best directing debut.

Personal Life

On August 1, 1983, he was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He received his diploma in 2003. He began his film career after graduating. During his college years, he enjoyed watching movies. He married Anusha, with whom he had a daughter in 2018.

Career

He has seen the films Okkadu and Indra numerous times. He had no idea what he was getting himself into when he decided to enter the film industry. Chinni Krishna visited Guntur once to celebrate the success of his film Indra.He then contacted him several times as a writer in the film industry in order to give him a chance.

After evaluating Bobby's performance, Chinni Krishna called him and ordered him to join him. Bobby has since collaborated with a number of other directors. Bobby co-wrote his first blockbuster, Balupu, with Ravi Teja. He told Ravi Teja a story while working on Balupu. Bobby decided to make a film on his own after Ravi Teja was so impressed. Bobby's first film was "Power," which starred Ravi Teja and was the biggest success of Ravi Teja's career.

Bobby has collaborated and continues to collaborate with renowned directors such as K Dasaradh and Gopichand Malineni. He worked as an assistant director for Aadinarayana's film "Political Rowdy." He has also collaborated with Kona Venkat on several screenplays. He works in the Telugu and Kannada film industries.
