Daniel Balaji , (T. C. Balaji) a familiar face in South Indian films, carved his niche portraying powerful villains.  Born in Chennai, his initial film industry venture was as a unit production manager.  However, fate had other plans. After a television debut as "Daniel" in "Chitthi," the name stuck, launching his acting career. Film Career From aspiring director to antagonist extraordinaire, Daniel Balaji's South Indian film career is a study in transformation. Balaji started in film production but fate intervened. A television role in "Chitthi" as "Daniel" led to his screen name, and soon after, Tamil films like " April Maadhathil " marked his film entry. However, it was the psychotic villain Amudhan in " Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu " that cemented his image as a formidable antagonist.  He aced villainous roles across languages, like in Telugu's "Chirutha."
