Kunchacko Boban (also known as Chackochan) is an Indian Actor, who works predominantly in Malayalm Film Indsutry. Also known as romantic hero in 90's, the actor is prominent for his roles in Aniyathipravu(1997),Harikrishnan's (1998), Niram(1999).His role in the film Harikrishnans (also by Fazil), which starred both Mammootty and Mohanlal, made him one of the top actors of Malayalam industry. Personal Life Born and brought-up in Kerala.Kunchacko Boban, is the grandson of Kunchacko,who was a prominent film maker and Producer and grand newphew of Novodaya Appachan. His father Boban Kunchackoa,is an actor and producer also and his mother name is Molly Boban. The actor tied the knot to Priya Ann Samuel in 2005 and had welcomed their first Baby Izahaak Kunchacko in 2019. Career Life Kunchacko Boban made his first debut with  ‘Aniyathipraavu’, a romantic drama directed by veteran director Fazil in  1997. It was a megahit blockbuster, and the actor received much appreciation for his performance in this film. The success of Aniyathipraavu, the actor caught the attention of Youngsters and acted in several movies like Nakshatratharattu, Mayilpeelikkavu, and Niram. Since then, the actor was also known as the romantic hero of the 1990s. In 2001, the actor played a comedy role in the film' Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka' directed by Sathyan Anthikkadu. The poor performance of the review showed that the movie failed and the actor faced criticism from the audience. After a seven-year break, the actor made his comeback to the industry with the movie Gulumaal:The Escape in 2009. Later, he acted in commercial hit movies like Mummy and Me, Sakudumbam Shyamala,Elsamma Enna AanKutty.In 2011, the actor appeared in the movie 'Traffic', which was a super hit and the actor received critical appreciation for his outstanding performance in this film. From there, he made his powerful comeback with performance-oriented characters in the movies like How Old Are You, Chrakondinjha Kinavukal, Lord Livingston 7000 Kandi, and many more. By playing unconventional roles in the films like Nayattu, Pada, Nizhal and Bheemantea Vazhi Kunchacko Boban himself proved as a successful actor in Malayalam Film Industry. In 2016, Kunchacko Boban renovated Udhaya films which is considered as an iconic production house of Malayalam movies.He then made Kochauvva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho, a box office success, as his first film as a producer.
