Livingston, whose real name is Philip Livingston Jones, is a popular Indian actor, comedian, and screenwriter who primarily plays supporting and comedic roles in Tamil cinema. He has been active in the industry for over 30 years and has appeared in more than 150 films. Livingston was born on August 22, 1958, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He started his career as a screenwriter and worked on films like "Kannai Rasi" (1985), "Kaakki Sattai" (1985), and "Aaruvadai Naal" (1986). He made his acting debut in the 1988 film "Poondhotai Kaaval Karan" and has since acted in numerous films, including "Vaali" (1999), "Charlie Chaplin" (2002), "Tamizh" (2002), "Dum" (2003), "M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi" (2004), "Naan Avanillai" (2007), "Dindigul Sarathy" (2008), "Thodari" (2009), "Venghai" (2011), "Amara" (2014), and "Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen" (2017). Livingston is known for his versatile acting and his ability to bring humor to any role. He has won several awards for his work, including the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian for his performance in the film "Sollamale" (1998). In addition to acting, Livingston is also a successful businessman. He owns a film production company and a restaurant in Chennai. He is married to Jacintha and has two daughters.
