Malavika Mohanan is a dynamic talent in Indian cinema, making her mark across Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi industries. She made her debut in Malayalam with Pattam Pole alongside Dulquer Salmaan and later gained widespread recognition with her Bollywood debut in Beyond the Clouds (2017), directed by Majid Majidi.

She strengthened her presence in Tamil cinema with notable roles in Master and Maaran. In Malayalam, she starred in Christy (2023), directed by Alvin Henry, with a screenplay by acclaimed authors Benyamin and G. Indugopan. Set in the picturesque coastal village of Poovar, the film showcased her depth as an actress.

Malavika also plays a pivotal role in the highly anticipated Tamil period drama Thangalaan, directed by Pa. Ranjith, starring Vikram in the lead.
