Mallika Prasad Sinha is an Indian actress known for her work across television, films, and theatre. She was born in Bangalore and developed a strong academic foundation in the performing arts. She completed her Master’s in Performance Making from Goldsmiths, University of London, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Acting from the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi.
Mallika made her acting debut in 1999 with the television series Kanooru Heggadithi. She gained further visibility the following year with Kanoor Ki Thakurani (2000). In 2001, she played the lead role in Guptagamini, establishing herself as a strong performer.
In 2002, Mallika portrayed the titular role in Devi Ahilya Bai, earning critical appreciation. Alongside acting, she also worked behind the scenes as an Associate Director at 2Streams Media Productions, where she contributed to the production of 250 episodes of the award-winning television series Garva.
She returned to television in 2014 as the lead actress in Magha Mayuri. In 2017, she played the lead role in Nagakanikke, a Kannada serial that won the Best Kannada Serial Award.
Mallika expanded her presence in films and OTT platforms in recent years. She appeared as Amrita’s mother in the film Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat (2022). In 2023, she portrayed Radha Rajesh in the popular web series Aspirants. In 2024, she featured in Killer Soup, playing the role of Zubeida.
