Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is an Indian actress and model who primarily works on Hindi television. She became well-known after winning Femina Miss Manipur for the year 2018 and became particularly recognised for her dual roles as Meher Kaur Dhillon and Seher Kaur Gill in the television serial Choti Sarrdaarni. She rose to fame by taking part in the critically praised television reality competition "Bigg Boss Season 16."

Personal Life

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who was born on December 11, 1994, in a New Delhi-based Sikh Khatri family to Surpal Singh Ahluwalia and Inderpreet Kaur Ahluwalia. She completed her primary schooling at Meera Bagh's St. Mark's Senior Sec. Public School in New Delhi. She subsequently continued on to Chandigarh University in Punjab to earn her LLB degree. She went to the Academy School of Dramatic Arts in New Delhi to improve her acting skills. She performed on stage a lot to polish her acting abilities.

Career

Priyakanta Laishram's 2018 short film Who Said Boys Can't Wear Makeup marked Ahluwalia's acting debut. She made her television debut in the Hindi television serial Choti Sarrdaarni in 2019, which was a pivotal moment in her career. She portrayed two characters, Seher Kaur Gill and Meher Kaur Dhillon. Ahluwalia made an appearance in Bannet Dosanjh's "Serious" music video in 2021.

Ahluwalia's performance received high marks from both reviewers and viewers, and the drama was a tremendous smash. For her portrayal, she received numerous honours, including the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role (Female).

Bigg Boss Season 16

Ahluwalia appeared in the reality series Bigg Boss 16 on Colours TV from 2022 to 2023. She was commended for her sincerity and simplicity and was one of the most well-liked participants on the show. She finished sixth overall.
