Parvathy Jayaram Biography

Parvathy Jayaram is an award-winning film actress and dancer who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. She was a leading actress in the late 80's Mollywood. Paravathy is best known for her performances in films like Kireedam,  Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal and Vadakkunokkiyantram.

Personal Life

She married actor Jayaram in 1992.The couple settled  in Chennai with their two children, Kalidasan and Malavika.

Career Life

Parvathy was a popular actress of Malayalam cinema industry and was active in films between 1987 and 1996.Her most notable works include "Amrutham Gamaya" ,"Oru Minnaminuginte Nurungu Vettam" and "Kireedam". She later married to malayalam film actor Jayaram, who was her co-star in many films. She was introduced to the Malayalam Film Industry by the actor-director Balachandra Menon and has acted opposite both the reigning superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal.

She typefied the typical beautiful Malayalee girl and thus was an actress who was able to make it big only in Malayalam. Many Malayalees would remember her performances in Vadakkunokkiyanthram as the lovable innocent wife of the hero, Dineshan, which was played by Sreenivasan. Many would also refer to her performances in Thoovanathumbikal as a bubbly young girl, with Mohanlal and in Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal as an insolent, alongside Jayaram.
