Early Life
Poornima Ravi finished her schooling at Shrishti Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vellore. And college at VIT University, Vellore, as a graduate of BE. From her school days, she was teased about mean things about her dark skin and bullied for that.
As she studied, she landed a campus interview at Cognizant, opening doors to a job in Chennai. She juggled her new job with acting on YouTube channels on weekends, balancing work and passion like a pro. Her salary of Rs. 25,000 helped tide her family over rough times, marked by her brother's unemployment, her sister's pregnancy, and an education loan.
A golden opportunity knocked when she was offered a shoot in Madurai for Rs. 40,000 a month. Lured by the prospect of easing her family's financial burden, she took the plunge, keeping her decision under wraps. However, fate had other plans, and she was unceremoniously ousted from the channel for unknown reasons. Though disheartened, she refused to give up on her dreams.
