Raghav Juyal Biography

Raghav Juyal was born on July 10, 1991, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He grew up in a supportive family with his parents, Deepak Juyal and Alka Bakshi Juyal. He completed his schooling at Doon International School and later graduated from D.A.V. Post Graduate College in Dehradun. Interestingly, Raghav never had formal dance training—he learned everything by watching videos and practicing on his own, eventually creating his unique dance identity known as “Crockroaxz.”

Rise to Fame Through Dance

Raghav first gained national attention with Dance India Dance Season 3 in 2012. Although he didn’t make it initially, he returned as a wildcard entry due to public demand and became a finalist. He became famous for his innovative “slow motion” dance style, earning the title “King of Slow Motion.” He later mentored and led his team to victory in shows like DID Li’l Masters 2 and Dance Ke Superkids.

Television Career

Beyond dancing, Raghav became a popular television host. He hosted multiple seasons of Dance Plus, where his humor and entertaining style made him a fan favorite. He also hosted shows like Rising Star and Dance Champions, and showcased his adventurous side as a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.

Acting Career

Raghav made his acting debut with Sonali Cable (2014) and appeared in dance-based films like ABCD 2 (2015) and Street Dancer 3D (2020). However, his major breakthrough as an actor came in 2024 with the film Kill, where he played the intense antagonist Fani. His performance received critical acclaim and marked his transformation into a serious actor. He continued exploring diverse roles in projects like Gyaarah Gyaarah (2024) and The Bads of Bollywood*.

Awards & Recognition

After reinventing himself as an actor, Raghav Juyal received several awards, including the IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role and the Jury Award for Best Debut Actor.
