Saniya Iyyappan

Saniya Iyyappan is an actress who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. She is known for her best films such as Queen,The Priest and Lucifer. She is a talented young actress and well-known dancer who became prominent after winning a dance reality show Super Dancer Junior 6 , which was telecasted on Amrita TV in 2014.

Personal Life

Born in Kochi in 2002. She completed her schooling at Nalanda Public School in Kochi.

Career Life

Sani Iyyappan   was winner of the dance reality shows Super Dance 6 which was telecasted on Amrita TV in 2014. Later, she came to the film industry as a child artist in the film 'Balyakalasakhi' in 2014. The film was an adaption of  Vaikom Muhammed Basheer's classic romantic tragedy novel in 1944.The film featured Mammotty, Isha Talwar and KPAC Lalita in the significant role. The film was one of the box office failures of that year.

Later, she appeared in a lead role in the film Queen in 2018.The film was a super hit and the actress gained critical appreciation from audiences and critics alike. In the year of 2019,she won Film Fare Award for Best Female Debut for the same film.


Since then she acted in the films such as Lucifer, Pathinettam Padi,The Priest and  Salute. In 2020, the actress won the best actress award for her powerful performance in Lucifer at the SIIMA Film Awards.
